A serious security flaw in PHP, the software most websites run on, was made public this week, nicknamed "PHP2Shell". The fix was released at 7 am Pacific Time. We were up for the release and installed it on green and orange within minutes.
s11's operating system supplier released its version of the fix later in the day. Until then we had extra protective settings in place on s11, and the full fix went in as soon as it was available. No websites needed any changes from their owners.
